Watch the video "Population Ecology: The Texas Mosquito Mystery." Note that there is a false statement made in the video @ 6:50. Read "Do Bats Really Control Mosquitoes?" to better understand that issue. When reading about Gause's Paramecium caudatum experiments, check out the Paramecium video to get an idea of what they are like.
